Reconnect with What Brings Meaning to Your Life

YOUR SPIRITUAL LIFE

For so much of our lives, we mold ourselves to meet the expectations of others. It begins early, first with our parents, friends, then teachers. We learn to adapt to what our culture, employers, and partners would like us to be. We accommodate, morph, and twist ourselves into people we think will be loved and appreciated. I invite you to reclaim your birthright to be exactly who you are. Right now. Today.

More and more people have moved away from traditional religious practice, but the desire to find meaning in our lives is a deep longing alive in the human soul. A spiritual life is a life that honors the dignity of others, as well as our own. It might include practices more "traditional" in nature, such as prayer or meditation, and more ancient, such as ritual. We might set aside time each day for writing, reading, and silent contemplation; or enquire deeply into our own experience, re-establishing contact with our senses. If you don't have a spiritual practice, you still can be spiritual; and your own practice might look quite different from what I have suggested here. But whatever the case, as our lives unfold, we often feel a deep longing in our souls to feel closer to ourselves, to God, the Universe, True Nature...there are many words to describe what is, ultimately, at the foundation of the Universe, and that is Love.

My name is Claire, and it will be an honor and a privilege to bear witness to your deepening understanding of what it means to be human - the glorious unfolding of you.

it's never

TOO LATE.

Sometimes life takes us unaware, and we come to find we don't have as long a life ahead of us as we thought. Conscious dying is a part of conscious living, and it is never too late to begin either process.

As a hospital chaplain and spiritual care provider, I had the honor of ushering many people over the threshold. It was always, without exception, a privilege beyond measure to sit with someone transitioning. As a psychopomp, I will work with you and your family - remaining present through the stages of change and uncertainty, providing whatever support you might need. We will walk together through the greatest mystery of life, death.

If you or a loved one is preparing to transition, whatever the state of consciousness, please consider my services. I welcome the opportunity to work together as you move into what might be uncharted territory for you, your family and loved ones.

Claire Grace Armitage

Spiritual Care Practitioner

I often speak about having been born three times: The first time was into this incarnation; the second, into a less embodied life that was transformed by a near death experience that occurred as a result of nearly fatal accident at the age of twelve; the third, at a retreat in 2011.
